Smart Microchip Scanner

The HALO microchip scanner is suitable for reading pet and horse identification chips. It also indicates the temperature if the chip is equipped with this sensor.

 The HALO scanner reads all FDX-B (15 digits) and FDX-A (10 digits) chips that comply with ISO 11784 and ISO 11785.
  
 15-digit microchips (type FDX-B) are generally used in the EU for animal identification.
  
 10-digit chips (FDX-A type) are used, among other places, in the United States.

The scanner must be connected to a computer (via USB) to retrieve data. Instructions for downloading the software are in the booklet included with the scanner.
Note: Software compatible with MAC OS is under development
